Available Postdoctoral Positions

We are excited to announce a NIH-funded postdoctoral position in Movement Science in the Program in Physical Therapy at Washington University School of Medicine opening in November 2019. Our faculty are nationally and internationally recognized for their expertise in: 1) integrative muscle physiology, 2) exercise and cardiometabolic health, 3) motor control and learning, 4) prevention, rehabilitation and maintenance in musculoskeletal conditions, 5) rehabilitation for Parkinson disease and other neurodegenerative conditions, 6) stroke recovery and rehabilitation, 7) wearable sensors for measurement of movement in daily life, 8) orthopedic biomechanics, and 9) the neurophysiology of pain.

Our Program has a longstanding, stellar record of mentoring trainees to independent, productive careers in movement science and related rehabilitation fields. For example, 98% of all trainees from our Program are employed in academia.  In addition, our two most recent postdoctoral fellows have been awarded prestigious federal (NIH F32) and foundation (L’Oreal Women Scientist) awards to support their training.
