Overview

Musicians, dancers, and other performing artists often experience repetitive overuse injuries because they use the same muscles repeatedly. Common injuries are tendonitis, labral tear in the hip, patella femoral pain, and impingement of the ankle. Musicians are more affected in their arms, shoulders, and neck. Both groups can have back problems.
