Scholarships

The Program in Physical Therapy awards over $500,000 in scholarships each year. Merit-based scholarships are awarded each year based on applicants’ personal and academic accomplishments. These awards require DPT applications to be submitted via PTCAS by December 1. Need-based financial aid comprises both scholarships and loans. Need-based financial aid is available for students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Additional scholarships are awarded based on essay submissions. Additional information about scholarships is included in the admittance packet.

We encourage applicants to complete all essays in the application as they are used to award several scholarships. Please be mindful of the December 1 deadline for some of these awards.

Assistantships

In addition to the scholarships above, we offer competitive research assistantship positions developed to provide students with valuable research and professional experience while helping to cover educational expenses.
