Our Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Movement Science offers the opportunity to work at one of the world’s leading programs in movement science and rehabilitation research.
Fellows work with Washington University School of Medicine faculty to develop research projects related to movement science and rehabilitation focused in areas of biocontrol, bioenergetics, and biomechanics. Our interdisciplinary approach to research includes mechanistic and translational investigations at all levels of organization—from the cell to society.
Fellows work to further the Research Division’s mission of understanding how the human movement system is affected by disease, injury, lifestyle, development, and aging, as well as how movement can promote health by enhancing physical function, activity, and participation across the lifespan.
