Julian L. Magee, PT, DPT, ATC, will deliver the fifth Lynda D. Woodruff Lecture on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Physical Therapy on June 13 at 7 p.m. ET.
Immediately following the lecture, a live panel discussion will feature:
- Rebeca Segraves, PT, DPT, (moderator), board-certified women’s health clinical specialist and founder of Enhanced Recovery After Delivery, an obstetrics clinical pathway that maximizes mental and physical function during pregnancy and immediately postpartum with hospital and in-home physical and occupational therapy.
- Wayne Brewer PT, PhD, MPH, board-certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and professor and coordinator of the Post-Professional PhD Program at Texas Woman’s University, Houston campus.
- Shannon Richardson, PT, DPT, EdD, assistant professor for the College of Saint Mary’s blended Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Omaha, Nebraska.
- Talina S. M. Corvus, PT, DPT, PhD, is assistant professor at Pacific University, where she is the interim director for the Education and Leadership PhD Program, faculty to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, and faculty to the Interprofessional Education Program.

Julian Magee, DPT, ATC, is the inaugural assistant director of diversity, equity, and inclusion for the Program in Physical Therapy at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he spearheads the leadership, development, and implementation of innovative and comprehensive initiatives aimed at cultivating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants in the physical therapy program.
