The Movement Science Research Center (MSRC)is located within the Program in Physical Therapy. The MSRC is a multi-user, comprehensive state-of-the-art facility of over 13,000 square feet that includes a vast array of different types of equipment and spaces for studies related to human movement. There are six large laboratory spaces with various equipment, seven private examination/treatment rooms, and a generalized exercise area, with treadmills and other cardiorespiratory exercise equipment that are available to all investigators. The MSRC is home to motion capture systems, electromyography equipment, force plates, a split-belt instrumented treadmill, eye movement tracking system, GAITRite walkway, Balance Master and more.

The Movement Science Research Center is approximately 13,000 square feet of newly renovated space that provides a collaborative environment for faculty, PhD students, and postdoctoral fellows to conduct rehabilitation research. 
The facility includes numerous private rooms for clinical interventions and state-of-the-art equipment. 
The Movement Science PhD Program offers training to investigate and improve movement impairments in people with chronic diseases such as stroke, diabetes, neuropathy, Parkinson disease, low back pain, hip disorders and obesity.
