The Washington University School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion has developed a list of resources to assist groups from around campus with learning more about matters related to diversity and inclusion. The list may be accessed here.
The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion compiles a list of DEI-related events that can be viewed here.
Becker Medical Library has created a Guide to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Resources.
The guide allows users to browse Becker Library’s growing collection of DEI-related books, many curated through the Feuerstein Health and Wellness Information Center, as well as links to organizations, articles and videos grouped under headings like “Anti-Racism,” “LGBTQIA+,” “People with Disabilities,” and “Latinx Community.”
Tabs along the left identify resources specifically of interest to students, staff, faculty, or clinicians.
The guide also includes links to resources from the WashU and WashUMed DEI communities.
If you have concerns regarding diversity, equity and inclusion within the Program, the preference is that such concerns be taken to a supervisor for immediate resolution. However, we recognize that this option may not always be available. In those circumstances, please feel free to contact the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team or the appropriate contact found here. Our team is always happy to talk with you to discuss an appropriate course of action.
