Overview
As a patient of WashU Medicine Physical Therapy, you will benefit from receiving care from a team of nationally recognized experts in the field. Our clinic serves the needs of individuals with a variety of neurological conditions including (but not limited to) Parkinson’s disease, stroke, brain injury, cerebellar dysfunction, cerebral palsy, and multiple sclerosis. We provide physical therapy to improve overall mobility, range of motion, balance, walking, and endurance.

The Clinic
Our clinic provides comprehensive rehabilitation to treat patients with a wide range of movement difficulties that may be associated with the following conditions:

- Spinal Cord Injury
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
- Polyneuropathies
- Stroke
- Cerebellar Ataxia
- Muscular dystrophy
Your Visit
Our clinicians are trusted experts in evaluating the movement system and treating identified movement impairments. We will focus on helping you to improve your movement. We will do this through treatments designed to improve walking, balance, strength, and flexibility. Additionally, we will develop an exercise program that is specific to you and your needs. If necessary, your physical therapist will recommend specific equipment for you or your caregivers to improve safety. Our goal is to guide you on your return to the activities you enjoy.
We provide each patient with:
- One-on-one patient care at every appointment
- A comprehensive one-hour initial evaluation
- A personalized treatment plan- developed by your therapist to help you meet your individual rehabilitation goals.
- Personal communication between your physical therapist and your physician
- Accessible parking, located on the north side of the building.
